Биография

Американская инди-рок группа, основой чьего музыкального материала служат великолепные партии на акустической и электро-гитаре. Лидер группы - Крис Каррабба, родом из Флориды, как и все остальные участники группы.

Легенда о вымучивании названия гласит о том, что это строчка из ранней песни Каррабба, где были слова "On the way home/This car hears my confessions". Отсюда имя Dashboard Confessional.

Официально принято считать, что коллектив образовался в 1999 году, а в 2002 Dashboard Confessional уже получали премию MTV Video Music Awards за свою песню Screaming Infidelities, которая успела засветиться аж в двух фильма - Shrek 2 и Spider-Man 2.
